The brief for this working family, based in Wanstead, was to update a hallway and open-plan dining area, with a view to carrying out further building work in the future. We focused on updating current furniture where possible, and carefully selecting new (and vintage) pieces that would work now and with their future renovation plans. The result blends contemporary, vintage and industrial design to create a comfortable family space.
We are delighted to have been invited back to design additional areas of this home, including a brand new loft conversion and ground-floor extension. More to follow when completed.

They make a real statement and double as extra dining chairs when we entertain. She was great at working with our existing pieces, reupholstering chairs and recommending new furniture and vintage lights that would work with them. We’ve already asked her back to design more rooms.”
