Moody Victorian

South Woodford, Redbridge, London

The kitchen in this Victorian home in South Woodford was in desperate need of a refresh. With an eye on budget (and sustainability) we completely changed the spatial layout whilst reusing the existing cabinets. New valchromat door-fronts, steel handles and a black paperstone worktop transformed what was once a pale yellow gloss kitchen. The new layout allowed space for a bespoke kitchen island with in-built bar made from steel, marble and walnut. The bay window was fitted with a banquette seat and dining table — the perfect space to sit, dine or entertain in East London.
